PYROTECHNICS
MOB (Man over board)
MOB, which stands for “Man Overboard,” is a maritime emergency situation that occurs when a person falls or is thrown into the water from a ship or boat. MOB situations are considered critical emergencies, and immediate action is required to rescue the person who has fallen overboard.
LTI (Line Throwing Apparatus)
A Line Throwing Apparatus (LTA) is a piece of maritime safety equipment designed for the purpose of deploying a line (rope) from one location to another, typically from a vessel to a shore or between vessels. LTAs are important for a variety of maritime and rescue operations, including ship-to-ship transfers, ship-to-shore communications, and rescue operations.
Smoke Flares
Smoke flares, also known as smoke signals or smoke grenades, are devices that produce a dense cloud of colored smoke when ignited. They are commonly used for various purposes, including signaling, communication, and safety in both maritime and land-based settings.
Hand Flares
Hand flares, also known as handheld flares or signal flares, are emergency signaling devices that produce a bright and intense light when ignited. They are commonly used in maritime, aviation, and land-based settings to signal for help, indicate distress, or mark locations during emergencies.
Rocket Parachute
A rocket parachute, also known as a rocket-deployed parachute or rocket-deployed recovery system, is a type of technology used in various applications to slow down and safely return an object, vehicle, or payload to the ground or a specific target area. Rocket parachutes combine the principles of both rockets and parachutes to achieve controlled descent and landing.
